In 2002 Silent Edge created the sales industry’s first objectively-observed competency framework, the Sales Performance System. Our evaluation is based on over 170 objective, moment-by-moment observations which take place during your live sales meetings or calls. Evaluations are caried out by a Silent Edge observer, or by your sales managers. We tick or cross an electronic scorecard according to what we see happening.
The sales person either carried out the tasks on the score card or they didn’t. This gives you an entirely objective view of your sales teams’ capability.
The resulting data is invaluable. It allows you to see where each sales person’s development needs lie, and allows us to develop a highly-detailed training needs analysis. Most importantly, your sales managers can use the data to focus precious coaching time and bring about the biggest and quickest return.
